The parade grows and this year pulls 120,000 ravers to the Ku´Damm who were drenched in the sounds of the 36 trucks. Among the trucks was a "rolling living room" where the ravers could watch the World Cup Semi-Finals from a sofa while DJ Hell inspired them with his terrific set.  Another highlight of the ´94 Loveparade is for sure DJ Tanith´s truck: pumping beats from an old russian armored tank mounted right on the truck!  "I knew some people from Tacheles (former East Berlin artist- squat cooperative) who had a garden called "Künstlerbeet" with a lot of MiGs and a tank. And at the time it went perfectly with the camouflage / hardcore trend and then had to paint it extra mean. We had a fog machine in the canon pipe and even smoke bombs… that could fog up a whole area up to 50 meters away. That was a real doom look and there was also camouflage webbed netting stretched over the wheels so that no one could be run over. It looked totally Mad Max! The people who knew me or knew my musical expression knew right away that it was a peace tank!"   Tanith, DJ

The significance of the Loveparade is increasing rapidly. 110,000 techno fans and 40 floats dance their way along the Kurfürstendamm.
